Write 1000 words and add html headings article based on this youtube script welcome back to my channel duct tape mechanic in this video I’m going give you the top three reasons why your newer style Maytag washing machine is not draining so if you find this video to be helpful make sure you subscribe to my channel for more DIY and tinkering videos all right so this is the washing machine in question this is fairly new just a few years old um if you’re curious that is the model number to this particular machine but the advice I give in this video would be applicable to a multitude of different model numbers and machines all right so basically your machine’s not draining water so you come inside you come over here and you notice that there’s a lot of water in the tub so in this video I’m going to cover the three top reasons why this is happening but the very first thing you have to do is you have to get rid of that water and the best best way that you could do that and easiest way is just to get the drain heal and lower it P below the washing machine and uh if it has water in it which this machine doesn’t um go ahead and put a bucket down and it’ll drain out most of the water now for to trouble shoot this you will have to set the machine on its side so if there is some residual water be prepared with towels or which you can also do is stick a you know old t-shirt or something in there to after you’ve gotten most of the water out you can stick a t-shir or a piece of cloth in there to clog up that hose so when you put it on the side it won’t just gush out all right so once you’ve resolved the issue with the water let’s go to reason number one which is that there’s some sort of obstruction now I’m going to give you two places where it’s common to have an obstruction the first is in this hose here and what you can do is unclip it from uh the right there and just back off that clamp and see if there’s an obstruction either either in this hose or in that one there all right so with that you can rule out that hose that drain hose and this port here a in English
